The WildTop Truck Cap is extremely lightweight weighing less than 44 lbs and lowers vehicle GVM to carry more.
Can i drive with the sides rolled up?
Yes! in 2024 we upgraded the magnets used in the straps that hold up the sides of the cap to allow users to drive with the sides rolled up.

We currently do not offer phone support - instead, we offer prompt email support and live chat. We do this for a few reasons, which we're happy to share here. Firstly, when we used to offer phone support, these queries represented a relatively small number of enquiries but they could be quite time-consuming. Email support allows us to prioritise urgent queries, as well as to ensure we can get the right support person onto your enquiry promptly and provide the right information first time. Focusing on email support means we can utilise the skills of our team while keeping our overheads (and therefore our prices) low.
What tools do I need to install?
As a general guide for the majority of our products you will require a drill, pop rivet gun, 4mm drill bit, pencil and tape measure, however this may vary with different models. For exact requirements, see the fitting instructions available on each product page.
How do I correctly close my tailgate with the WildTop Installed?
Key Steps for Proper Tailgate Closure With WildTop Cover Installed:We’d like to share the correct method for opening your tailgate and ensuring the long-lasting durability and waterproof performance of your cover.
- Unzip the canvas and lift it up out of the way before opening the tailgate. You can either roll it up and secure it using the provided straps or unzip it enough so it won’t get caught in the tailgate.
- Carefully close the tailgate, ensuring the canvas is not obstructing the closure.
- Rezip the canvas after closing the tailgate to create a tight, waterproof seal.

How long will it take for my order to arrive?
Your order will be dispatched within 5 business days after your payment has been cleared. Please note our products are shipped from Victoria, Australia and will be shipped via priority air freight and therefore delivery can take between 4 to 6 business days, depending upon your location.

What is your returns policy?
We offer free returns for 30 days from the date you receive your order. You can return the product to us as long as it is in its original condition, complete with its fitting kit. We may ask you why you want to return it as your feedback will allow us to further improve our systems and processes.

How long until I get my money back after I have returned an item?
We will issue your refund after we have received the item back into our warehouse.

How long is the warranty and what does it cover?
We offer a 2 year warranty against manufacturing and material faults under normal use. Under this warranty, if a product is wrongly described, faulty or damaged, you may choose between a replacement or refund. Under these circumstances WildTop will pay all of the return freight charges. This does not cover damaged items resulting from abuse, misuse, alteration, accident, damage in transit. Please note that items will need to be returned in their original condition in terms of both the product and its packaging. Great product. Looks amazing and is a very versatile truck topper at a reasonable price.

Buckle up or should I saw zip and roll up. This top has (so far) met all my expectations. Here’s how I would break it down:
Directions and installation: I read the instructions twice, and still scratched my head a few times. I did deviate at the end it says to drill and through bolt the top. I used nut rivets since the weight is carried on the rails not the bolts. Very easy to assemble. My Engineer brother got frustrated on how straight forward it was he “couldn’t find the hard way to do it”
Looks: Love it, I would say they could have fit it a tad less snug on the corners. It doesn’t fall off strait and comes in a bit. Not a big deal, but something worth noting.
Ease of use: Okay so well here’s where the rubber meets the road. Attention to detail is everything in sewing, where the zippers meet in the rear they should have double backed the ends and sewed then so if and when the zipper snagges because the canvas is cold the zipper catches the edge and it’ll run. And just general consistency across the board with the zipper flaps. The corners are SOOO tight *insert snicker* but you’ll have to push and pull to get it on straight, I’d warm the canvas up a bit before could be my fault could be no one’s fault.
Over all I couldn’t be happier with my top and the team behind the product. One parting thing that could be something for the designer folks; allowing for lighting to be ran for interior strip lights, exterior pods, chase lights, or a 3rd brake light. The ability to lock the zippers sometimes the illusion of security is all the people need. Tinted rear and front flaps so people can’t see my goodies in my bed.
10/10 would recommend and buy another.
